Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sacramento follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Visited Four Seasons Market for the first time after several people recommended their herring. The store itself was clean and organized, and one of the cashiers was very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the customer service from another employee left a very negative impression. When my husband asked about the price of the apricots, he received a very rude response to a simple question. Later, when we were ready to purchase some items and herring, we stood near the fish counter register because we were unfamiliar with the store's checkout process. Instead of politely explaining where the line starts, the same employee abruptly told us to go to another cashier. I completely understand that every store has its own procedures, but first-time customers cannot be expected to know them. A simple, polite explanation would have been appreciated. What made the situation more frustrating was that after we moved to the first cashier, the employee from the far register came over to the fish counter area where we had originally been waiting. I appreciate the friendly service we received from the cashier who eventually helped us, but the rude attitude of the other employee made our first

An excellent store and truly one of the best in Sacramento. The staff is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They gladly offer samples of sausage, cheese, or fish, making every visit enjoyable and welcoming. The store has everything you might need, along with a very wide selection of products that are hard to find in most other places. The shelves are always well organized and fully stocked, the quality of the goods is consistently high, and everything is fresh and always within the expiration date. Another great thing about this store is that there is often a pleasant bonus with your purchase, which makes shopping here even more enjoyable. What makes this store stand out even more is that it is constantly improving, expanding its assortment, and adding new products. You can see that the owners truly care about their customers and work hard to make the store better every time you visit.

One of the most organized and beautiful European markets I’ve ever been to in Sacramento so far! This place was also recommended to me by my Russian/Ukrainian coworker&friend. It’s a small market but they make use of it by offering so many items such as cakes, fresh produce, lots of candy & snacks, frozen items, pantry items, and the usual fish/meats, breads, and cheeses. I am greeted in their language and I don’t understand a thing, but every shopping experience has been pleasant and the ladies working there are all so nice and wonderful! Lately my obsession are the cheesecake bars! This place doesn’t have dadu like Teremok but they have many other brands and hope to keep discovering. I love working less than 10 minutes away and I hope to stop by every once in a while to grab my favorite items or try to experience new things I might like in the future. Please check this place out if you’re into imported or Eastern Euro cuisine/treats! PS: on 3/6/26 @ 7pm- the young woman who rang me up then said β€œyou are beautiful” made me want to cry happy tears- you are so kind and beautiful as well! πŸ₯ΉπŸ˜

If you want food from Ukraine - it is there. Together with freshly baked bread , every morning at 9am they have hot , fresh and crispy bread. Not the bread you can keep for ages and smells like a vinegar, real bread though.

I received friendly service today from cashier Manana. She was patient with my lengthy salami order despite a long line. I come here frequently and the lines are often long but they do a good job calling for help and getting them moved quickly. I find prices to be reasonable and produce pretty fresh.
